FATHERED BY GOD
This is an invitation to join a men's group called “Fathered By God”. The purpose of the group is to live out the stages of the masculine journey (boyhood, cowboy, warrior, lover, king and sage) and achieve greater freedom of the masculine heart. The source of this freedom is Jesus' words in John 10:10 “A thief is only there to steal and kill and destroy. I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of.”
The structure of this group will include:
“Video Sessions” to learn about the stages of manhood. In addition, we will also have “War Briefings” in a non-church setting (restaurant, coffee house, or brewery) to talk about what God is doing in our lives and exchange answers to this question “How do you see me as a man?”
“Adventure Trips” to go hiking, or backpacking in order to experience a taste of adventure and foster deeper relationships with other guys.
Fall 2010 Schedule for “Fathered by God” group:
We will have the “Video Sessions” at my house. My address is 6822 S. Carney Ave, Tempe, AZ 85283. The locations of the “War Briefings” will be announced at a later time but will most likely be at nearby restaurants. I hope that you will accept my invitation to be part of “Fathered By God” men's group.
